Condolence
January 9, 2021 - I will always remember your Dad as very active man. He seemed to me to be so kind and loving. He was always teaching his kids how to do everything yet coming around to do what ever he could do for them. He and your Mom were such a great example of how a marriage should be. They had fun together even as they aged. Gail you were the most kind and gentle caregiver thinking of them first. He will be missed.

January 8, 2021 - Ed and I knew Roy and Emily many years through square dancing, and got to know them even better through our River City Wranglers C/W dance club. It was a joy to be around them. Everyone always anticipated their costumes for our Halloween parties. Roy went along with anything Emily chose. Miss them both!

January 11, 2021 - He was a great man; a loving attentive father to Gail and Gary; adored his wife, Emily; and always treated me with kindness, grace, and good humor. Here's to fair winds and following seas to CDR Roy Phillips & Mrs. Emily Phillips, reunited now in the great hereafter.

January 13, 2021 - I knew Mr. Phillips through his kids, Gary and Gail. He was a truly great father who adored his wife and kids. I used to see him and his wife reguarly when Luby's Cafeteria was opened. We would have brief chats either before, during and after dinner. He's now at home with his lovely wife, Emily. May they both be blessed in the hereafter.
